Edition of 25, signed and numbered by the artist.
Photographed in the aftermath of the Eaton Fire, Sunset Over Steel was made just behind my home in Altadena, where burned vehicles sit scattered across the ground, their frames rusted and hollowed out, catching the last light of day. Palm trees and hills remain in the distance silhouetted against a soft evening sky, an uneasy contrast between what endured and what was reduced to steel and ash.
This image was scanned from the original 8x10 film negative and printed as a giclée print using archival pigment ink on Canson Platine Fibre Rag paper.
The printed image measures 13.6 x 17 inches and includes a clean white border, designed to fit a standard 16x20 frame without a mat.
Every print sold helps me keep shooting—covering film, lab fees, and time to continue the project.
